The hotel had great private onsen with a garden view and comfortable kimonos to wear. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to jumpstart our car when we had trouble getting it started. The location was convenient as it was near the local bus station and there were nearby restaurants to explore.
Absolutely nothing.

paragraph: The staff was exceptional in their friendliness and helpfulness, assisting with restaurant reservations and bus ticket changes. The food, a fusion of traditional and modern, was delicious and fresh. The onsen, although the temperature of the outdoor one was a bit too hot, provided a relaxing experience. The private onsen with a garden view and moonlit bathing was a highlight. Ureshino is a charming town offering a quieter, authentic Japanese experience.

A fantastic stay at a lovely ryokan. The lady at the reception went above and beyond to help me reserve a restaurant and change my bus ticket. The food was delicious, and even though I'm not familiar with traditional Japanese cuisine, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The onsen was great, and the town was a peaceful and relaxing place to visit.

Great onsen experience and friendly staff
The onsen provided a great experience with both indoor and outdoor baths, and a variety of ukata to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The hotel's location was also convenient, it was close to the town center for easy access to shopping and dining options.
Although the half-board option was a good value for money, the food was quite repetitive. the public bathroom's opening hours were relatively short, leaving limited time to use the facilities.

Love traditional hotels with decent baths within the mountains and this one hit the spot. the warm welcome is a great aspect, giving the local insights and tipping us about great activities. Fresh and delicious meals with great vegetarian options. the comfortable rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. the onsen is well-maintained with a fantastic outdoor area with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains.
The location is quite remote, so the transportation options can be limited or expensive. the activities and amenities can be a bit pricey.

The accommodation was located within walking distance from the bus stop and the local town. the room offered a private onsen with a beautiful view of nature. the breakfast that was served was decent enough.
The amenities in the room were lacking, including poor air conditioning, limited bathroom products, and dated bedding.
